If you haven't seen episode 1 the phantom menace then you don't know whether Qui Gon gets out or not. Even if you do know it's exciting. The evil person behind it all is the scientist named Jenna Zan Arbor. She doesn't wont to hurt her Jedi subjects, just strap them down to a metal frame, hang them upside down in liquid, jab a thousand needles in to them, monitor there actions 24,7 and drain there blood for investigating.

Obi Won and Astri bring Didi back to Coruscant for treatment for the laser blast and Obi wants to go after Qui Gon. Astri wants to find who did this to so she can get revenge on the bounty hunter for shooting Didi. They go out together to gather clues and end up find the bounty hunters secret hiding place and name. They finally get the info they need from some bad criminals and find the scientists base but are unable to rescue Qui Gon. To Be Continued again.

I like this book because there are challenging foes and great characters.

After Tom frees the 6 beasts of avantia a 7 and 8 are hatched from a single egg. The new born beasts must be escorted to the nabouring country Rion where they will grow up and some day become good beasts of avantia. What beater duo to choose then Tom and Eleana, Storm is sick and Silver wont's to stay with him. The other beasts say good bye as Ferno, Epos, Vedra, Krimon, Eleana and tom set out on there quest. Getting to Rion is easy but making the beasts safe is another mater as Tom and Eleana find out when they encounter a volcano, huge maze, the not so huge valley of fire not as dramatic as it seems, and the first encounter of Toms Archenemies Seth. Will Malvel get the beast on his side forever?

Interesting facts, at the end of the book Ferno stays with Vedra and Krimon till the rest of their training to become a good beast. But in the next series, the second book has Ferno come to help to against Claw so it takes one whole book for Vedra and Krimon to finish training. Also its the Kings birthday and in Arachnid it's also king Hugo's birthday so it takes a year for Tom to defeat Zepha, Claw, Soltra, and Vipero.

Arax the Soul Stealler has been going round, you gessed it, sucking souls out with his wip. His latest victom, the good wizerd of Avantia Aduro. Tom tracks him down with the magic map and goes towords the mountains, interesting thing is Tom says that he gose to the mauntains to the west meaning Ferno's Moutains. When Tom meets him Tom gets hit by the wip, but insted of going insan it makes a evil duplacet Tom and so he calls Ferno himself. A brave boy, a girl with arrows, and a fire beathing dragon vs a boy equily maching the other and a soul sucking bat-beast crip with a wip. Will Aduro's soul be saved? I'm not going to tell you am I.

Every generation the hero of avantia and his arch nemesis must battle for the book of worlds. Tom is obviously the hero and it turns out Seth is his arch nemesis, each must choose one beast to battle with and the only other people are the hero's friends. But every one knows that Malvel likes to cheat so Sethrina comes to join the battle, Seth chooses Claw, Vipero and Trillion which combine to make a super beast, and Sephir comes and steals the book.

It's a good book but it seams to be placed after Tom fights trillion, before Seth terns into a scorpion and not in Gorgonia. In other words it can't excised in the same time line as the other books. Unless Tom, Eleana, Storm and silver suddenly forget about the gateway to Gorgonia, start aimlessly walk around the grassy plains and go back when this story is done.

Coorong Captive

This book is based in australia, in the outback. A teenager called Fitzie and his aborigonal friend Goondalee were camping out on a river, going fishing and seeing sites. But then Fitzie discovers illegel bird pochers, and he isn't serprised that Goondalee knows it to becuse he knows every thing which goes on. After delaying there escape Fitzie get in alot of truble.



there isn't much action in this book but it's ok to read, it still gets you absorbed and is well writen. It's a prity small one so for a peoson starting to read big books this may be a good one.

Encyclopedia brown mystery collection

Encyclopedia is a boy who lives in a town called Idaville. Every body calls him Encyclopedia because hes the smartest kid in the country.

His Dad is the police chief and when he comes up agents really tricky cases which even he can't figure out he talks to Encyclopedia. When school is let out he starts his own detective agency.

This book has three books in one: Encyclopedia Brown Carries On, Encyclopedia Brown Sets The Pace, and Encyclopedia Brown takes The Cake. The cases are near impossible and the only way to solve them is to know random knowledge about certain things or there just easy.

They also teach you interesting facts about things and in the third book they even give you recipes to cook.

This one is like a murderer case, star wars style. They know which bounty hunter is the culprit but who hired her is the Question. Qui Gon's friend Dido said that a bounty hunter is after him and a very skilled one at that. After collecting some information, Dido's friend Fligh is found dead. Obi Wan and Qui Gon think the bounty hunter is after a data pad belonging to a top scientist. They didn't get any thing out of her but then they find that the bounty hunter is setting a trap for Dido. they get there just to late but early enough to get in the trap too. They make a dash for the bounty hunter's space ship, but the bounty hunter gets there first. in the attempt to get on the ship Qui Gon is shot. Is he alive? where is he? or did he gain control over the ship and is fling to help?

My favorite part is when Qui Gon and Obi Wan are facing the bounty hunter at the end. I like the Questioning but it does not have that much action.

Obi Wan and Qui gon are heading to two worlds which live on the edge of conflict. The original method is at the age of 7 the kings first born is sent to the other planet and when they are 16 they come back. But now one does not want to come back and his farther thinks their moon is responsible. Qui Gon and Obi Wan travel to the moon and find Prince Leed. But just as things are going fine Leed gets captured so the Jedi go out to find him. When they retern to the planet with Prince Leed he is forced to stay and every thing is not as you want it to end. But in the last chapter it all changes.

My favourite part is when Dranna,Leed,Taroon,Qui Gon and Obi Wan are having fun and learn skills.

Obi Wan and Qui Gon have been sent to a planet with a another master, apprentice team called Adi the master and Siri the apprentice. They go to this world to receive a child which is force sensitive and to see if they can make an agreement to join the republic. The guides there are very strict and Obi Wan and Siri are mistaken for children and are sent to school with incorrect information and security like a prison.

My favorite part was when Obi Wan and Siri were at school and they did the running course in record time with there lightning reflexes.

Qui Gon wants to pursue his rival which was tiring to destroy the Jedi Temple and Obi Wan wants to help him. They find him on his home planet tiring to mine out natural resources with his secret company.

My favourite part was when the Jedi reveled the troth through pictures which should have been encouraging them to fund the company. Xanatos got totally POWNED.

Obi Wan and Qui Gon have just returned from a planet of civil, which they stopped, where Obi Wan has Quit being a Jedi but now he regrets his diction. The council don't like Obi Wan's diction ether so they don't take him back. Mean while the temple is holding a buck load of valuable crystals to settle down a war. But thefts are happening around the temple and the Jedi know Bruck is involved, Bruck is Obi Wan's old foe at the temple. Obi Wan's friends are moving on. One is taken as an apprentice and another is training to be a special pilot for the Jedi and he is afraid that his best friend is wanting to be Qui Gon apprentice.

My favourite part is when a turbo lift shaft is blown up and the turbo lift is on the edge of falling hundreds of meters into the lake. While Obi Wan's best friend goes for help he tries to help them down. He goes to some staircases and finds a cat walk just above the lift. He jumps down on the shaft and walks along until he finds the lift. Then he starts helping the children out. half way through he is met by Qui Gon and the Jedi council keeping up the lift. Qui gon and Obi save all the children and go down for a unfair talk with the council.

This book is a continuation of the Defenders of the Dead. Obi Won is not a jedi and Qui Gon has his own problems at the temple. Obi and the team Cerasi and Nield tack out the opponents star fighters they win the war. They set up a government and start electing the children in it. But after a vote is against Nield's wishes and Obi wan makes a tie braking diction against him he get very mad. After Cerasi dies in a stand off Obi is banished and calls on Qui Gon for help. After Qui Gon finds who killed her Obi Wan finds Nield and they end the war once and for all when Qui Gon finds a heart touching message from Cerasi before she died. Qui Gon also has been dealing with a thief in the temple and at the end finds an attempt on Yoda's life has been made.


My favourite part was when Obi Wan, Cerasi and Nield work together to disable the star fighters because it shows what a great team they are. They also had help from a young girl who cut the power lines to the ships. They got behind the enemy defences by making a tunnel off their main one. The rest was mostly depressing with every thing going wrong.

Tom was tyring to find the last good beast of Avantia, Arcta the mountain giant. But what he finds first is a wounded Seth. Seth is one big enemy Tom has faced 3 times before and now he was just laying there with arrows in him. Tom helps him and then Malvel comes along and changes Seth into Sting the Scorpion Man. After they escapes from Sting they Head to Malvels Castle and sneak into the tunnels bellow. There they find Arcta chained up in a coffin. Tom breaks one but then Sting comes, after all Malvel did send him here. During the fight Arcta breaks the other chain and starts bringing the Castle down. Sting traps our heroes in the tunnels and goes off to the castle, but Tom uses the newly found purple jewel to get back to Avantia. Aduro the good wizard said he sore Malvel's castle fall and destroying Malvel and sting but I doubt it.

Tusk the mighty mammoth terrorises the forest of Gorgonia, where the rebels are hiding. She also keeps captive Freno the fire dragon, which Tom must save to keep Avantia safe. The rebels have been found and have been taken over by Malvel the evil wizard guards. After Tom and the rebels take back the camp they go after Tusk. In the battle Tusk accidentally frees Ferno. Tom and the rebels defeat tusk and send Ferno back to Avantia. Silver comes back to Gorgonia and helps Tom and Elena again because he was badly injured in the last book and was sent back to Avantia.

Kaymon is a big Hound (see picture) that has the power of changing into three hounds the same size as her. Kaymon has captured one of the good beasts of Avantia along with lots of rebels. Tom's magical abilities help him in many ways but he defeats Kaymon through wits. Every so often Tom finds something from his father, who had been a boy knight too, and had mysteriously disappeared when Tom was a baby. In this book he finds a piece of paper attached to a lantern which reads the date of Tom's birthday. When he defeats Kaymon the good beast returns to Avantia and Tom finds the white jewel for his belt. The white jewel gives Tom the ability to make his shadow become separate from his body and he can make it go any where and look at every thing. The only down side is that Tom can't move his legs when he doesn't have his shadow.

In Gorgonia, Malvel has put a great bounty on Tom's and Elena's heads. So strait after Tom saves Storm from quick sand a gang of bounty hunters come and capture Elena's. Tom is surrounded by them and has to fight his way out. Even with the odds against him he still defeats them all. That's my favorite part because it shows how powerful Tom has got with all the magical gifts he has collected

In this book Dumbledore gets fired and a ministry personnel tacks over so the Wesley brothers , Fred and Gorge, want to do as many practical jokes as possible. Since the teachers don't like the headmaster ether they do nothing to stop them but my must favorite part would be when Fred and Gorge escape by broom stick right in front of her.

Beast Quest Skor The Winged stalion

Tom sees that Epos is in trouble and that a new beast called Skor is waiting for him. So Tom, Elena, Storm and Silver set off to rain forest, but before they get there they meet a huge, deep gorge. Silver and Storm stay behind as Tom and Elena cross the bridge. Like all creeky old bridges that sway over a valley, it brakes when they're half way a cross. But they fall on to the wall on the other side and climb up. In the rain forest they find Skor, a huge golden horse with wings. And from Skor's back comes an old foe called Seth (about Tom's age and they meet in the first special Vedra and Krimon Twin Beasts Of Avantia). After they escape him they find Epos The Flame Bird badly injured in a nest and Skor is right on the other side of the clearing ready to attack. After a fierce battel Tom finds that Skors wonds heal instently so he ames for his head but he can't reach it. but just as Skor attacks Elena Tom blows through some swomp reeds and Skor comes right up to him and goes to sleep. Tom then dillivers the finel blow and kills Skor. Tom then finds the green jewel wich heals broken bones, so he uses it to heal Epos and she becomes free.

My favourite part was when Alduro the good wizerd levertats Tom and Elena over the gorge because it would be so fun to do it.

A Jedi knight called Tahl gets captured on a peace mission and Jedi knight Qui Gon and his apprentice are sent to retrieve her. The two sides of the war on the planet are so filled with hatred of the opponent, that they fight for small things which happened years ago, and they can't even remember why they started it. But secretly some children (from both sides) are forming a group called the Young, and their goal is to make peace. Obi Won is moved by what they are fighting for and helps them to complete their goal. When it is time to leave, a big fight breaks out and the Young are losing. Obi Won gives up being a Jedi for the Young and Qui Gon goes back to the temple. Yes, that's the end, so if you wont to find out what happens read the next book.

My favourite part is when Obi Won helps the Young spread chaos with amplified war toys. This is my favorite part because they have fun and I have fun reading it.

This book is about a planet having elections to who should rule it. Qui Gon and Obi Wan are sent to make sure they go smoothly but as usual they get involved in allot of stuff. Qui Gon has been sent to get a hill person to come to the elections. Obi Wan has stayed with the dying queen in the palace, finding lots of secrets.

My favourite part was when Obi Wan was finding out lots of things like that the Queen is getting poisoned and that another candidate is in league with an evil company.
