The Galaxy of Fear is about two orphans named Tash and Zak and their uncle Hoole and their care taker droid DV7.
Deevee will do a good job of anything he is asked to do, even if he does not like it. Like in the book "Eaten Alive" Deevee says "I just try to do a good job , whatever it is".
Smada is self-centered because he is only worried about saving himself from D'vouron and to not risk anything, he wants to be the only survivor.
Tash is very brave when she tries to find the secrets of D'vouron.
Zak is a bit of a thrill seeker once his parents die so he needs to look out more.
Chood seems to be peaceful but is really a bad guy.
Hoole is a good guy but is a bit mysterious and we don't know much about him.

Ahh...so the development of Hoole is maybe where the series is going? Could be.
I like Deevee's motto, "I just try to do a good job, whatever it is." Maybe we should all have that tattooed on ourselves somewhere as a reminder of what we should be like. :-)
